  1. find drawing origin on layout (needs explanation)
  2. copy drawing
  3. create independent detail – set drawing scale
  4. paste drawing
  5. set drawing settings: fit frame, position, rotation
  6. explode so you can work on the drawing
  7. set the drawing's pen set temporarily to see the drawing as seen on layout
  8. save view
  9. re-set pen set to avoid messing up other drawings
  10. relink drawing
