Polygon count limits

I am working on a big site plan. But ı can not take 3 d window perspective. (not enough memory). I make some tests on ac 10 with polygon count add on. And my limit with my computer is 2,550,000 polygon. with ac 10 objects the limit is about 5.000.000 polygons.

My configuration is C:88/52 (empty space) - 2 GB RAM - 256 NVİDİA 6600 GE FORCE - PENTİUM 3,2 (WİNDOWS XP) I tried the test in internal engine - wire frame mode.

I am searching ıf there is a limit in number of polygons. And connection between configuration. (my site plan has 7,500,000 polygons) Has someone search the ac limits with high configuratin computer ? Thanks in advance

There is no general rule, since it's not like Archicad suddenly crashes if the polygon count exceeds a certain limit. The more polygon you add, the slower Archicad is, so it's up to the user's patience what is acceptable, and what slowness is considered a 'limit'.

On the other hand a lot depends on the hardware platform you are on. (32 bit/64 bit, Windows/Mac OS X, Memory size, other running applications, etc.)
