There is a small glitch in ArchiCAD 8.1. Let us say the Favorites Floating Palette is on the screen (Window > Floating Palettes > Show Favorites). If you want to save a Zone's current state of settings as a Favorite, you may do so by selecting the Zone, then clicking the right-pointing arrow in the header of the Favorites Palette, and selecting 'Save last Selection's...' from it. You will need to type a name for the new Favorites and click OK.
Unfortunately, this method does not work correctly. When such a saved Zone Favorites is recalled, settings within the Zone Stamp Tab Page of the Zone Settings Dialog are not preserved and recalled correctly, thereby the Favorite will be potentially unusable. Until this is fixed, our recommendation is to use the Favorites... button in the Zone Settings Dialog. Zone Favorites saved from there are recalled by the program correctly.
