Issue

On Windows Vista "cannot start interprocess communication server" warning appears when starting ArchiCAD, and ArchiCAD fails to launch.

Cause

Most likely caused by Norton Antivirus.

Solution

Configure Norton Antivirus to allow interprocess communication.
