TechNotes/ArchiCAD does not open AutoCAD 2002 DWG files

In case you are unable to open in ArchiCAD a DWG/DXF file coming from AutoCAD 2002, the following may help:
Ask you consultant from whom the file comes to open it in AutoCAD 2002 and issue the following command in its command line: "DIMDISASSOCIATE".
This will sever the associative connection between dimensions and AutoCAD elements in the drawing. Then he should save this file and ArchiCAD should be able to open that file without any problems.
In other localized AutoCAD 2002 versions, the command to be issued will be different, as these names are also localized.
