Ever wondered why it sometimes happens that a whole Dimension chain gets lost when deleting a sole dimensioned element?

Let's see what happens in the following example:

You're ok so far, but be aware before you make your next move that after executing the Undo command the dimensioning chain or chains (i.e. the entire dimensioning chain!) associated with the previously selected elements become selected.

This means that if you press <Delete> or <Backspace> or execute the Clear command of the Edit menu, you will lose the whole dimensioning chain or chains unless you deselect the whole chain first.
