The Technical Note 'Attributes of drawings placed in PlotMaker' can be found at TechNotes/Attributes of drawings placed in PlotMaker
The table of the Tech Note says that change of the Drawing Scale of Project Hotlinks is enabled but will update at the next update of the Hotlink. This can lead to the following scenario:
The user wants to have two or more instances of the same drawing placed on a PlotMaker Layout, each at different scales. In earlier versions of PlotMaker he would place one instance of the drawing, then copy it as many times as he needed, selected the copied instances one-by-one and changed their scale in their Settings Dialog.
While this method still works with File Hotlinks (data coming from *.PMK files) it does not work with Project Hotlinks as the scale of all instances will be reset to the scale it is in the ArchiCAD Project from which it is updated.
The solution to this is to create several View Sets. The only difference between these will be the stored Scale. There might be a View Set for 1:100 scale and another for 1:50 scale. Then they can both be imported onto the PlotMaker Layout.
Since each one is a different View, their scale does not have to be changed so we can get around the danger of scale reverting back to its original value.
