Starting with ArchiCAD 8, the way the multi-segmented wall geometry method is executed has changed.

Supposing you start placing multiple Wall segments on the Floor Plan. While doing it, you change the Wall Construction Method, and continue placing Wall segments. When you finish placing the last segment, the last selected Wall Construction Method will be applied to all segments of the multi-segment Wall just created. In previous ArchiCAD versions, the newly selected method was applied only to those Wall segments drawn after the change in the Wall Construction Method.

This is so because of the way this geometry method works and the way these so-called PolyWall elements are handled. First the geometry of the poly-wall is created (just like in case of PolyLine, new to ArchiCAD 8), and then the Wall Geometry Method is applied to it. Of course, any Wall segment not correct after this can be selected and its Wall Construction Method changed so the Wall will be on the desired side of its ReferenceLine.
