When you want to change the sign of thousands in ArchiCAD from SPACE, dot (.) or comma (,) to one of the others, you need to do the following:
Windows: Start Menu/Settings/Control Panel. Here choose Regional Settings and go to the 'Number' tag. Here enter the character in the Digit Grouping Symbol field.
Mac OS X: The way ArchiCAD displays numbers, depends on the regional settings (locale) of Mac OS X. Go to System Preferences and choose the International option, then the Formats tabpage. If you check the Show all regions option, you will be able to assign any region to any language. If you don't want to use neither period nor comma, you should choose for example the Finnish regional settings.
- Mac OS 9: Go to Control Panels/Number and enter the character into the 'Thousands' field.
Having applied these new settings, you need to quit ArchiCAD and restart it. The new settings will not apply to number in dimensions already created. It will apply only to new ones.
