In the Library Manager Dialog of ArchiCAD, it is possible to download Library Object directly from the Internet using the FTP protocol. There is a bug in ArchiCAD that may cause the program to crash. Here is what happens: After the desired file is downloaded from the Web, ArchiCAD sends the following message:

FTPCrashDialog.PNG

In such a case, most users simply click the 'Load Libraries Now' button, which may go into an infinite loop, thereby causing the crash of the program after a while. The solution till the bug is fixed is to click the 'Load Libraries Later' button. Then exit the Library Manager by clicking the 'Cancel' button. At this point the downloaded files are in the FTP Cache which will not cause a crash. After this is done, you can use the newly downloaded Library Objects.
