Special Menu
Special Menu is a "hidden" menu in ArchiCAD, that contains commands that are mostly useful for Library and API developers. By default, the Special menu is not available in the Work Environment. Note that features in the Special Menu are not supported.

Invoking the Special Menu in ["ArchiCAD 9"] and newer on Mac OSX
In order to turn on the special menu you will need to set a key in the preference file for Archicad. Your preference file should have a path and file name similar to the following (this example shows preference file for ArchiCAD 11 INT version:) /Users/[user name]/Library/Preferences/com.graphisoft.AC 11.0.0 INT V1.plist. You can edit the preference file with third party tools like Pref Setter: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/system_disk_utilities/prefsetter.html
- Download and install Pref Setter
Open the .plist file with Pref Setter, and find the key Special Menu
- Set value to "true"
After this, the Special menu will appear in the Work Environment, and you can add it to your menu bar.
