Windows XP
GRAPHISOFT supports only "Professional" Edition officially, and none of the ArchiCADs were tested by Graphisoft on "Home" Edition.
However, since the two editions only differ in their feature set ("Professional" edition has additional features, e.g. support for network domains and two physical processors), ArchiCAD works with both editions.
Windows XP 32-bit version has a limit of 2GB maximum memory address space for an application.
List of ArchiCAD versions that run on Windows XP:
ArchiCAD 16
Windows XP 32-bit and 64-bit are also supported.
Note: Windows XP 64-bit Edition is suitable for running ArchiCAD 16, but not tested by GRAPHISOFT.
This is the last ArchiCAD version that supports Windows XP.
ArchiCAD 15
Windows XP 32-bit and 64-bit are also supported.
Note: Windows XP 64-bit Edition is suitable for running ArchiCAD 16, but not tested by GRAPHISOFT.
ArchiCAD 14
Windows XP 32-bit and 64-bit are also supported.
ArchiCAD 13
Windows XP 32-bit and 64-bit are also supported.
ArchiCAD 12
Windows XP 32-bit and 64-bit are also supported.
ArchiCAD 11
Windows XP 32-bit and 64-bit are also supported.

The Archicad Installer automatically installs the proper WIBU driver, however those using Itanium Processor should download the adequate driver from http://wibu.com/download_user.php.
The Amyuni PDF Converter is not compatible with this platform. To keep the PDF output functionality, you must purchase the 64-bit version of Amyuni http://www.amyuni.com/en/products/index.php If you do not need Save-to-PDF functionality, only print-to-PDF, then Adobe Acrobat or any 3rd party PDF creation tool certified for 64-bit XP will work.
- Archicad 10 is a 32 bit application, but in 64 bit Windows environment it is capable to use 2 times more, totally 4GB memory.
ArchiCAD 9
Windows XP Pro Edition is supported.
The same comments apply as with ArchiCAD 8.1. However, using ArchiCAD 9 build 2172 and higher on x64 has benefit over the 32-bit XP. Although a 32-bit application can theoretically use 4 GB memory address space, the 32-bit XP imposes a 2 Gb limitation on every application. XP x64 does not have this limit anymore, so it lets 32-bit applications - like ArchiCAD 9 - address the full 4 Gb.
As a result, you are able to build and render larger 3D models on a 64-bit system. A slight modification in the ArchiCAD 9 code was necessary to achieve this, so only build 2172 and above is able to exploit this benefit.
ArchiCAD 8.1
Runs on Windows XP Pro. ArchiCAD 8.1 was released before the arrival of 64-bit XP, but it works with the following limitations:
The WIBU driver installed by the ArchiCAD installer must be removed, and the 64-bit version must be installed. You can download it from http://wibu.com/download_user.php
The Amyuni PDF Converter will not work.
QuickTime 7.x or higher is required
ArchiCAD 7.0
The first version of ArchiCAD that runs on Windows XP 32-bit.
